With this email I want to ask for help to anybody in this list who can help me.
I decided weeks ago that I will write a book about Mike Oldfield vinyl. Only vinyl (singles, maxis, lps, testpressings, acetates, flexis, jukebox, sheets, ...).
This book will contain information (Mike Oldfield biography) to help me to introduce all the interesting vinyl that I want to show with big and quality photos. So I don't know at the moment, but probably the book will be about 200 or 300 pages and about 400 and 500 photos.
As I explain, book will be only about Oldfield vinyl releases. So it means from SallyAngie to The Songs of Distant Earth. I want to write it in three languages: spanish, english and german.
I will use my big Oldfield vinyl collection (near to 400 different vinyl singles and more than 100 maxis and more than 100 lps). You can see my complete vinyl collection in my oldfield website at

I want to write an excellent book, with information and photos and scans of all interesting vinyl material. Some big collectors are going to help me, sending to me scans and photos of their rarest items.
So a lot of people are going to help me, some with scans, some with photos, some with the translation to english and german... all help is very important for this project
anyone else ? Please, if there is someone in this mailing list who have any rare vinyl item (testpressing, acetate, promo, any rarity), please email me my address (argiers@hotmail.com).
Not only with rare vinyl items. I also want to include rares Mike Oldfield photos from Sallyangie to TSODE. So if you have rare photos and you can scan them, I also need your help.
well, hope to write an interesting book and hope to print maybe between 50 and 100 copies, not more. Any help will be very appreciated. For instance I only have two Mike Oldfield vinyl acetates (one in lp and one in single), so if you have any, please contact me because I need the scan to include it in vinyl reference book that I want to write
